Superb Video Quality:
Motorola MBP33 is known for its superb video quality. The 2.8 inch LCD screen displays real time video stream at the rate of 25 FPS. Full color display during day time enables you to monitor your child without much of difficulties
Night Vision – Motorola MBP33 brings to you the videos of kid’s activities during night also with the help of 8 infrared lights. The light sensor senses the absence of light perfectly and switch into night vision mode automatically. The image quality is quite good when the camera placed close enough to the crib.
Display Video Feed through TV:
You can keep an eye on your baby through big screen. Motorola supplies an optional cable (sold separately), which facilitate you to connect your monitor to your TV. You don’t have to carry your monitor with you all the time when you are doing chore.
The monitor must be turned ON and CAM preselected before you connect the cable. Once you choose the option, monitor’s control cannot be activated.
Remote Zoom Option:
The zoom option enables you to see close-up of your baby. You can place the camera at a distance but still can enjoy close up view of the crib/ baby. The option is available in menu option. Select 1x or 2x from it. The default setting is 1x.
Motorola MBP33 transmits your baby’s every murmur, whisper, cries and every small sound to your monitor through the microphone of your camera unit.
Two Way Communication Facility – Motorola MBP33 gives you a wonderful opportunity of two way communication facility. You can sing to your baby using this option.
Built-in Five Lullabies:
This is another unique facility available with Motorola MBP33. You can select lullaby option from menu and play the same. You may pick any of the polyphonic lullabies or cycle through all of the songs in turn. It cannot be a substitute of mother’s voice but can perform its part very well.
Audio without Video:
You can save your battery by turning off the video screen of your Motorola MBP33 parent monitor but still can be in touch with your baby through audio monitor. That simply means that you can hear your baby’s every single whisper even if you turned video screen off. You can use this option when your baby fall asleep, again switch on video once your baby wakes up, only by pressing the button available on monitor unit.
Noise Level LED Indicators:
Another wonderful addition. Four noise level LEDs let you know the sound level of your baby’s room even the volume is down. In noisy environment or during night you can easily make out the sound level of your baby’s room.
2.4 GHz FHSS Secured Data Transmission:
Motorola MBP33 uses 2.4 GHz FHSS encrypted data transmission. You can be absolutely sure that all the data have been transmitting to you only.
Your parent monitor displays temperature of your baby’s room. You may select Celsius or Fahrenheit scale as per your convenience.
The reading will turn Red if temperature goes above 290 C/ 840 F or below 140 C/ 570 F.
The temperature reading will turn as HH 0 C/F if temperature goes above 360 C/ 970 F and LL 0 C/F if temperature goes below 10 C/ 340 F.
Please Note: You cannot control the temperature.
You may set an alarm (6/4/2 hr) with the help of your parent monitor unit. The default setting is alarm off. A beep in every 45 seconds will alert you if the alarm is set.
Add/ Pair camera – You can pair camera to parent unit by following a few easy steps. The supplied camera is pre-paired to monitor unit. If you want to re-register or add extra camera to your network please follow below steps –
- Select camera icon from menu.
- Select ADD from the popup menu.
- Select desired camera from CAM1/CAM2/CAM3/CAM4 and press ok to start searching. Green audio LED will flash rapidly.
- Press and hold PAIR button of camera until the monitor finds the camera.
- A beep will sound and the images from the camera will appear on monitor screen.
You may delete a camera from your Motorola MBP33 monitor by selecting desired camera and then press DEL button.
Multiple Camera Compatibility:
You can establish your own camera network. Upto four cameras can be added to your network. You will have the option to view any of the cameras or all the cameras automatically. From Motorola MBP33 parent monitor unit you can set automatic scan preference which will then scan through each the cameras in your network changing in every 12 seconds.
Also, if you press OK button repeatedly you will able to see the cameras in sequence. This is not an automatic option, to change camera in view you will have to press OK button.
Manual Pan and Tilt:
You can adjust the angle of the camera manually best suited to you. This will help you if you re-arrange the stuffs of your baby’s room. Just set the camera in such an angle that you get the complete view of your baby, you don’t have to re-mount the camera.
Long Transmission Range:
The parent monitor can capture break-free video stream from camera up to 200 meters in an unobstructed area. The presence of thick concrete wall and other obstructions can significantly lower the transmission range. ‘No Signal’will display if you go out of range and will sound a beep in every 5 seconds.
The signal is not interference free; other wireless device can have their affect on the signal. Also, moving too close to camera unit may cause audio disturbance.
Motorola MBP33 is supplied with a rechargeable battery. It required 16 hrs to charge the battery fully and it lasts around 3.5 hrs with monitor continuous on.
You will get a beeping sound in every 16 seconds if the monitor is running out of battery. The battery icon will turn into red empty one. Also, the Power LED will turn into red (normally green).
During charging the Power LED will turn blue.
The Motorola MBP33 works fine all over the world as the input voltage supports from 100 to 240 volts.
Alerts and Warnings:
Motorola MBP33 alerts you under the following circumstances –
- Out of range alerts – Monitor will beep in every 5 seconds.
- Low battery alerts – A beep will sound in every 16 seconds.
Volume and Brightness control Shortcut Key:
The Motorola MBP33 monitor unit is equipped with shortcut keys to control Volume and brightness. Eight levels controlling is possible for both Volume and Brightness.
