False alarms are rare and usually result because you have forgotten to turn it off when you lift the baby out of the cot. It is corded but you can place the wires under the mattress and out the bottom of the crib.

This alarm is round rather than the more common rectangular shape but will detect your baby’s every movement, stirrings and breathing. The alarm will sound if it detects no movement for 20 seconds. The baby sensor has a highly sensitive micro movement technology which picks up every nuance. It was developed specifically to prevent SIDS and to give stressed parents respite at night. It has been tested extensively in hospitals and for government healthcare programs and has been found to be very reliable and useful in prevention of SIDS. The alarm will also sound if your baby’s movements are abnormally slow so that you will realise sooner that you baby is not well.
